The driver managed to exit the vehicle unassisted after it landed upside down on an escalator in the conference center. One person was reported injured in the incident, which occurred while a conference was in progress.

Emergency responders noted significant water damage from a major leak, though the water supply was quickly shut off. The Evansville Fire Department deployed multiple units, including a specialized structure collapse team, to assess the situation and check for potential gas leaks.

While the parking garage maintained its structural integrity, the western wall sustained significant damage. Police evacuated both the garage and affected areas of the building, with all security and casino staff successfully accounted for.

Local residents noted on social media that the parking garage had been under construction for an extended period, with upper levels previously closed to vehicles for several years.

The incident, which occurred around 8:45 AM, prompted local authorities to reroute traffic in the surrounding area while emergency operations continued.
