Live! Casino Pittsburgh is celebrating its fourth anniversary with $7.5 million in new amenities and upgrades, solidifying its position as Pennsylvania's top-performing mini-casino. The property, which opened in October 2020 following a $150 million investment by Cordish Companies, generated $131.6 million in gross gaming revenue in 2023.

Recent improvements include:

• A new 1,600-square-foot Social Club event space, featuring rustic lodge décor, full bar, fireplace, and seating for 20-100 people
• Relocated poker room from upstairs to the main gaming floor
• New high-limit gaming lounge with three table games and dedicated bar

As a Category 4 casino, Live! Pittsburgh operates under specific regulations:

• Maximum 750 slot machines and electronic gaming devices
• Up to 40 table games (after paying a $2.5 million fee for 10 additional tables)

The casino maintains strong performance in the region, though Hollywood Casino York slightly outperformed it in table game revenue last year ($16.6 million vs. $16.3 million).

General Manager Sean Sullivan emphasized the casino's commitment to community partnership and providing a world-class gaming experience through these latest improvements.

The property represents part of Cordish Companies' larger $700 million investment in Pennsylvania gaming, which includes the full-scale Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia.
