Two separate robberies occurred at Rivers Casino Des Plaines in Illinois on Saturday. Two masked men in a white Nissan Altima robbed a 32-year-old Itasca resident at gunpoint, stealing his phone, license, and credit cards. Minutes later, they robbed a 57-year-old Skokie resident of his wallet containing $2,000. No injuries were reported in either incident.

In Pennsylvania, former Gregg Township secretary/treasurer Pamela Hackenburg, 55, faces multiple charges for allegedly stealing $532,747.67 using town credit cards. She reportedly spent approximately $20,000 monthly on DraftKings sports betting. The theft was discovered after the town's emergency management coordinator noticed suspicious credit card statements.

Investigation revealed Hackenburg allegedly concealed credit card balances in town expenditures, falsified budget data, and misappropriated funds from a $500,000 road project loan. Her office was found in disarray with unsigned checks and improper filing systems. She faces potential prison time if convicted.
