Jeremiah Oldham allegedly pushed through a concrete barrier at high speed in a restricted area, sending his vehicle airborne before it landed upside down on the casino's Executive Conference Center's roof atrium near elevators. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized.

Court records reveal Oldham has a history of mental health issues, including diagnosed psychosis. He recently stopped taking prescribed medication and expressed paranoid thoughts about people trying to kill him. Despite recommendations, he refused hospital treatment and was found in possession of weapons while on probation.

Oldham, previously convicted in 2011 for possession of child pornography in Kentucky, served 78 months in prison and was under probation supervision. A federal probation officer noted his recent behavior and the garage incident posed substantial risks to casino staff and patrons.

The crash caused significant water damage, but quick response from Evansville Police Department led to prompt evacuation of affected areas. The casino and garage reopened after a nine-hour investigation and vehicle removal, with no other injuries reported.
