DraftKings has launched a groundbreaking $20 monthly subscription service called DraftKings Sportsbook+, offering enhanced parlay betting odds for users. Initially available only in New York, the service provides unlimited "Stepped Up" boost tokens that can be applied to parlays and same game parlays within 30 minutes of subscribing.

This strategic move follows CEO Jason Robins' earlier statements about finding alternative approaches in high-tax jurisdictions like New York, where sports betting is taxed at 51%. The company previously considered implementing a tax on winning bets but abandoned the idea within two weeks.

The timing aligns with the growing popularity of parlay betting. Flutter Entertainment reports that "Same Game" bets increased by 75% in Q4 2023 compared to the previous year, with over 262 million bets placed across their key brands.

DraftKings states the service aims to "offer customers an enhanced fan experience, creating more excitement and value to our extensive parlay offering." Plans for expansion to other states have not yet been announced.
